Artist Biography

Boris Petrov was born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1964. He and his family moved to St. Petersburg in 1970 where Boris studied fine art from childhood in an exclusive art school. Then he entered the Academy of Fine Art, Drawing and Sculpture named after I. Repin.

He took part in many exhibitions in Russia, including:

1992             Exhibition of Sankt-Petersburg artists in the "Manedg-Hall"
1993-2000     Exhibitions in the Palace of Culture, Sankt-Petersburg
1997             Exhibition in the hall of "Union of Russian Artists", Sankt-Petersburg
1998             Exhibition "Ukrainian Artists" in Trier, Germany
1999             Exhibition "The World of Art" in Budapest, Hungary

His paintings are in many private and public collections in Germany, Hungary,
Sweden, Canada and the United States.
