Andy Donato & Dianne Jackson: Collage Mixed Media

In 2011, Andy and his wife Dianne Jackson, also an accomplished
painter, attended an art exhibition at the ROM by renowned
African painter El Anatsui. The exhibit so inspired them that they
embarked on a series of work that combines mosaic and collage
in an exciting combination of colour and movement.

Dianne and Andy both worked in the newspaper industry so there
is a form of irony in their use of recycled printing plates on which
they paint, and piece by piece develop the work.
